City Center Community Development Corp. (“CCCD”) is a non-profit corporation qualified under IRS Section 501(c)(3) that is also a United States Department of Housing and Urban Development certified Community Housing Development Organization (“CHDO”).

CCCD provides consulting, development feasibility and construction services for community housing projects. Most broadly stated, CCCD works with cities to eliminate blight, create local jobs and upgrade community housing stock for seniors,  low and moderate income families and first time buyers. The Company also has a specialty in the development and finance of large commercial historic properties through tax credit, new market credits and other innovative financing techniques.

One third of CCCD’s Board of Directors is composed of income and/or location qualified members of the communities served by the Company. The balance of the Board is made up of experts in law, finance, development and construction. Board Members chosen for their expertise have an average of 25 years experience in their particular specialty and professional relationships which allow for each project to be broadly supported by all necessary expertise and manpower.

 Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO)

Development

CCCD provides comprehensive development services to municipalities and property owners. Our Board of Directors, Board of Advisors, and retained development professionals provide us with top level expertise to take on a variety of real estate development projects.

  • Financial project feasibility analysis of housing alternatives and project funding sources
  • Selection of architecture, bidding plans, contractor selection and construction management (through Allwest Construction, Inc.)
  • Management of the sale or rent-up including obtaining take-out financing for “For Sale” housing
    for families with low/moderate income

Planning & Consulting

CCCD can support the municipality or property owner in the processing of entitlements related to the development or acquisition of a property. Our team is capable of providing a full range of services - from market feasibility analysis to site selection, to acquisition through the entitlement process.

  • Site analysis and selection - Matching the conceptual project to the site and parcel assemblage
  • Managing the entitlement and predevelopment process including representation at all public hearings
  • Department of Real Estate Processing and compliance with Subdivision Map Act
    and common interest subdivision law
