Are you ready to preserve, protect, restore, and rehabilitate historic buildings?

National Preservation Partners (NPP) is here to help you save your historic building.

Founded in 2001, National Preservation Partners is a 501(c3) non-profit corporation with the primary objective of preserving, protecting, restoring, and rehabilitating historic buildings.

By providing critical technical expertise to building owners and City Agencies, we are able to unravel the maze of complex policies, procedures and incentives that play a role in reusing historic buildings and put the project on the right track for success.

NPP became focused on the needs of the Broadway Theater District in Downtown Los Angeles . This is one of the largest concentrations of historic theaters left in the world, and for many years, the City of Los Angeles had tried to bring change to the street but was never able to fully engage property owners and City agencies at the same time. NPP analyzed the situation and found a gap in the technical information that was available to the property owners and City to help them understand the complex nature of bringing the historic theaters back to new use. In an effort to accelerate the process, NPP took on a four year project that entailed a comprehensive market study of the area, followed by a detailed analysis of the buildings on Broadway and what it would take to activate them for new use.

This web site gives the reader detailed information on our efforts over the last several years and allows you to access the technical findings that one would need to evaluate if the street is right for their investment.

Please take the time to explore and learn how you can help NPP in its mission to rehabilitate the Broadway Theater District.
