The Historic Downtown is the heart of Los Angeles and the home of an unparalleled collection of early 20th century commercial architecture. Bordered by 3rd to 9th Streets, and Main to Broadway, the district encompasses 24-blocks of stunning Beaux Arts, Art Deco, and revival-style buildings built at the turn of the 19th century. At the center of this historic downtown is the Broadway Theater and Commercial National Register historic district, the largest and most dense historic theater district in the country.
