Westlake Reed Leskosky, with offices in Cleveland, OH, Washington, DC and Phoenix, AZ, is an integrated architectural and engineering firm with a specialization in large-scale historic preservation projects and are national leaders in the adaptive re-use of historic theatres into contemporary performing arts venues. WRL’s portfolio now includes work on over two hundred properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The firm is fully accustomed to working with local and state preservation commissions with many of their primary clientele include municipalities and federal agencies.

The firm strives to work within the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation to ensure that historic fabric is respected and retained in all of the firm’s work. Guido Hamacher has over 15 years experience in engineering and computer science. His background includes leading the development of a Computer Aided Design program during his time as lead programmer at the FH Düsseldorf. He later a developed quantity mass survey program for a landscape design firm and a computer setup for automated manufacturing on tooling machines.

Guido Hamacher received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from FH Düsseldorf and a degree in Computer Engineering from FH Wiesbaden.

Mr. Hamacher started HCI-Media while working as Quality Assurance Engineer for a successful internet start-up company in San Diego. HCI-Media specializes in consulting for internet marketing, website design and implementation, as well as CD production and marketing materials.

Landmark Location & Event Promotion

Jon Olivan currently oversees his own consulting company known as Landmark Location & Event Promotion. His background includes over 15 years of experience in the successful marketing and promotion of historic theatres and film locations, the production and coordination of special events and media relations. In addition, Jon established the profitable film location division of Metropolitan Theatres Corporation (including virtually every major downtown L.A. Broadway district historic thea-tre and other historic properties) from 1989 until 2002.

He also founded the non-profit Friends Of The Orpheum Theatre which produced film festivals, jazz concerts and other live stage events in an effort to raise funds to save and restore the Orpheum Theatre as well as increase public awareness of downtown L.A.’s historic Broadway Theatre district. Jon was instrumental in demonstrating the vi-ability of reviving the Orpheum Theatre which led to its major restoration in 2003 and successful renaissance as a frequent special event location.

From 2002 to 2004 he also served as marketing director of Pasadena’s famous Castle Green spe-cial event site and prior to that served in various professional capacities for a number of high profile entertainment companies including 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, the Hollywood Reporter, KCET public television and Disneyland.
