LHAT Conference comes to Historic Theater District - Jose Huizar Speaks
The League of Historic America Theatres held its annual conference in Los Angeles on July 18th to 22nd, 2006. During the conference, several days involved touring the Broadway Theater District. We were welcomed by Councilmen Jose Huizar at the Los Angeles Theatre.
Tara Jones gave presentation on the Broadway Theater District and the results of
our planning efforts ahead of our 2 days of touring the theaters.

LHAT President, Dulcie Gilmore, presented an award to Mr. Delijani in recognition of the preservation of the historic Los Angeles, Palace, State, and Tower Theatres. The tours were followed by an education session to interested attendees on the Broadway theatre Planning Project Initiative and results.
